It’s with a heavy heart that I write this post…
I’ve been putting this off for some time because it’s one of the last things I want to do but I’m finding in this season of life, with a new little one in the home that I am unable to continue my blog, The Homemakers Cottage, and my group, The Homemakers Corner. So, I am for the indefinite future I am shutting down both. I do hope to return someday so I will not be taking either of them offline, but I am not able to continue to give advice on Homemaking or keep up with the demand of being a full-time work from home mom, a homemaker with a new baby, and keep up with my blog. My family needs to come first.
Again, I hope to be back in the future but for now, my attempts at reviving and sustaining my blog and group are unattainable for me. I’m very sorry to let you all down but am so grateful for all of you ladies in joining in this Homemaking journey with me. As I said the group will stay open as a support group for everyone. If you would like to join for the support I will still be accepting join requests and monitoring post requests. Let’s continue being a shining light to one another!
Blessings, Amanda Elizabeth
Hello! I'm Amanda Elizabeth, creator of The Homemaker's Cottage. As a homemaker I have constantly felt the pull between old fashioned homemaking and the fast paced world we live in today. So I created The Homemaker's Cottage: a stress-free space between the old in the new, where there is no judgement and we can learn that homemaking can be relevant, easy and even enjoyable.
Join me on this journey to serve God, your family, and begin homemaking from where you are.
